About Us

How will the Central PA Down Syndrome Awareness Group promote awareness and acceptance in the community?

Community Social Events: Provide a social environment where families of individuals with Down syndrome can come together to socialize and support one another.

Education/Family Focus Night: Provide families with the information they need to ensure they are maximizing the resources available to individuals with Down syndrome (Seminars related to government assistance, financial planning, Special Needs Trusts, etc.).

Family grants/funding: Provide funds to families that aid in promoting personal development of individuals with Down syndrome (these funds will be granted on an individual request basis for camps, horseback riding, etc.).

The Central PA Down Syndrome Awareness Group was founded in 2008. Current board members are:

  • Brian Guillaume
  • Heather Fox-Kauffman
  • Cori Guillaume
  • Andy Smarr

Our families would like to help other families just like ours. The Central PA Down Syndrome Awareness Group will allow us to do just that.

CPADSAG is not your typical non-profit – we do not have paid staff or overhead! 100% of your donation is used to enhance the presence of individuals with Down syndrome in the community!

Your donation makes a difference!
